ব্যাখ্যা: এই Sentence টির প্রদত্ত অংশটুকু 1st Conditional এ আছে। অর্থ্যাৎ If + sub + verb হলো Indefinite tense এ + ext. অতএব পরের clause টি Future indefinite Tense এ হবে। সুতরাং আমরা বলতে পারি If you maintain honesty, you will get respect from everyone.

ব্যাখ্যা: এই Sentence টি since যুক্ত একটি Sentence. Conjunction – since/ as though/ as if এই ৩টি যুক্ত Sentence এর আগের অংশ Present indefinite tense হলে, এদের পরের অংশ Past indefinite tensw হয়।
যেমন: It is a long time since we met last.
Answer (3) we met last.
কিন্তু যদি since/as though/as if এর আগের অংশ past indefinite tense হয়, তবে এদের পরের অংশ Past Perfect tense হয়।
Example: It was long time since we had met last.

ব্যাখ্যা: বাংলা- ‘ সে তার কাজ করার সময় অনেক বেশি কথা বলে’। প্রদত্ত Sentence টি Relative Pronoun হিসেবে আছে Who. Who এরপর Verb ব্যবহৃত হয় Who এর ঠিক আগে ব্যবহৃত Noun এর Person ও Number এর উপর। এখনে Who এর আগে আছে Peopleযা 3rd Person Plural Number. সুতরাং Who এরপর Plhral Verb হবে। এখানে আমরা ব্যবহার করতে পারি who are talkative.

ব্যাখ্যা: বাংলা- ‘ ভিক্ষুকটি ক্ষুধার্ত ছিল। রাস্তার মধ্যে সে এক টুকরো রুটি পাওয়া মাত্রই সে—–‘। লক্ষ্য করুন No sooner had দিয়ে বাক্যটি শুরু হয়েছে।
এই ধরনের বাক্যের বাংলা অর্থ হয় পাওয়া মাত্রই/করা মাত্রই/ দেখা মাত্রই ইত্যাদি। এবং প্রথম অংশের মূল Verb হয় Past participle. এবং ২য় Sentence টি হয় Past Indefinite Tenseএ।
এখানে Answer হবে he started eating.
পুরো Sentence টি হলো- No sooner had he got a piece of loaf on the road that he started eating.

ব্যাখ্যা: লক্ষ্য করুন, ‘বৃদ্ধ লোকটি খুব দুর্বল। সে ধীরে ধীরে হাটছে—‘। কেন ধীরে ধীরে হাটছে? এখানে সঙ্গতিপূর্ণ যেকোন উত্তরই হতে পারে। আমি যদি বলি, ‘to avoid a fall’/ to save himself an accident’. অনেক কিছুই হতে পারে।

ব্যাখ্যা: বাংলা- ‘কোন প্রশ্নের উত্তর অন্ধের মতো মুখস্ত করা কোন ছাত্রের উচিত নয়। যদি সে অর্থ না জেনে উত্তর মুখস্ত করে তবে, —-‘।
প্রদত্ত গ্যাপটি 1st Conditional এর অংশ। অর্থ্যাৎ If + sub + verb হলো Indefinite tense এ + ext. অতএব পরের clause টি Future indefinite Tense এ হবে।

এখানে লক্ষ্য করুন, It is high time দিয়ে Sentence টি শুরু হয়েছে।
It is time / It is high time এর পরে infinitive phrase কিংবা past indefinite tense-এর clause উভয়ই ব্যবহার করা যায়।
তবে কোন কাজ করার সঠিক সময় হয়েছে বুঝাতে infinitive phrase বসে এবং কোন কাজ করার সঠিক সময় ইতোমধ্যে পার হয়ে গেছে
তাই বিলম্ব না করে এ মুহূর্তেই কাজটি শুরু করা উচিত বুঝানোর জন্য past indefinite tense-এর clause ব্যবহার করতে হয়। উল্লেখ্য যে, এ ধরনের sentence দ্বারা present tense-এর অর্থ প্রকাশ পায়।
It is time এর পরিবর্তে It is high time ব্যবহার করলে বেশি জোর / গুরুত্ত্ব বুঝায়।

ব্যাখ্যা: এই Sentence টি 3rd conditional এ আছে। এখানে if এর বদলে had ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। Conditional অংশে sub + could/would/might have+ মূল Verb এর Past Participle হবে।

ব্যাখ্যা: বাংলা- ‘আমার ভাই ঢাকা থেকে রাজশাহী আসছে। তাই আমাকে স্টেশনে যেতে হবে—.
এখানে With a view to আছে । With a view to/look forward to এর পর verb এর সাথে ing যোগ হবে। অতএব আমরা এখানে Verb এর সাথে ing যুক্ত phrase ব্যবহার কররো।
প্রথম অংশের সাথে মিলিয়ে বলতে পারি receiving him.
