22nd October 2019, Narayanganj: Jashim Uddin, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Narayanganj, visited Narayanganj Head Post Office today. In his short visit, the honourable DC exchanged views with the employees of the post office. DC Visits Narayanganj Head Post Office
He said that he had a plan, after taking the office, to go to different government offices of Narayanganj. “I had a plan to visit different government offices after joining Naryanganj,” he said.

The Deputy Commissioner said that government had taken some initiatives for the betterment of people, ahead of the Birth Centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibor Rahman and the Golden Jubilee of the Liberation War.
Mentioned Bangladesh Post Office as service-orient one, the DC instructed the employees to give service people properly so that the clients can go home with satisfaction.

He also advised the employees to be serious about family life. He added that everyone should spend time with family members, be friend of offspring and visit recreational center with them for happy life. Besides, he emphasized on the proper education for the children of employees.

In the view exchange meeting, chaired by the Post Master Md. Shah Alom, all of the employees of the post office including the DPM, the Junior Accountant Md. Jalal Uddin Bepari, the Inspector of Post Office Rabeya Akter and the APMs were present.

The leaders of the Bangladesh Post Office Employee Union and the Postman and Employee Union were also present in the meeting.
