(d) over

1. Authority over (person): কোন ব্যক্তির উপর কর্তৃত্ব বোঝাতে Authority এরপর ঐ ব্যক্তির পূর্বে Preposition হিসেবে over ব্যবহৃত হয়।

   Example: He has no authority over me officially.

2. Authority on (subject): কোন বিষয়ের উপর পাণ্ডিত্য বোঝাতে Authority এরপর ঐ বিষয়ের পূর্বে Preposition হিসেবে on ব্যবহৃত হয়।

   Example: She is indeed an unquestionable authority on Physics.

3. Authority for (action): কোন বিশেষ কাজ করার এখতিয়ার থাকা বোঝাতে ঐ কাজের পূর্বে Authority এরপর  for বসে।
   Example: You have no authority for instructing me as such.
