Adverb Basic
সংজ্ঞা: যে Part of Speech- Noun ও Pronoun ব্যতীত অন্য যে কোনো Parts of Speech , এমনকি কোনো Sentence-কে Modify করে, তাকে Adverb বলে।
প্রকৃতপক্ষে, Adverb- adjective, verb ও adverb সম্পর্কে অতিরিক্ত তথ্য প্রদান করে থাকে। এমনকি Adverb একটি Sentence কেও Modify করে।
Example: He can run quickly.
Her pen is so nice.
Children are screaming very loudly.
Actually, they are brilliant students.
প্রকারভেদ: Adverb এর ব্যবহার অনুযায়ী উহাকে প্রধানতঃ তিন ভাগে ভাগ করা যায় ।

Simple Adverb কাকে বলে?
যে adverb দ্বারা সরাসরি কোন শব্দ বা বাক্যের রূপ, অবস্থা ইত্যাদি বুঝায় তাকে Simple Adverb.
যেমনঃ He went early.
You can run fast.
Interrogative Adverb কাকে বলে?
যে adverb দ্বারা কিছু জিজ্ঞাসা করা বুঝায়, তাকে Interrogative Adverb বলে।
Example: What are you doing?
How old are you?

Conjunctive Adverb কাকে বলে?
যে adverb দ্বারা Conjunctive এর সংযোগ বা সমন্বয় বুঝায় তাকে Conjunction Adverb বলে।
Example: Can you give me the address where she works?

1. Adverb of time কাকে বলে?
এ Adverb দ্বারা কোন কাজ সম্পন্ন হওয়ার সময় নির্দেশ করে। যেমনঃ today , now , early , when , daily ইত্যাদি। I am taking my dinner now.
2.Adverb of place কাকে বলে:
এ Adverb দ্বারা কোন কাজ সম্পন্ন হওয়ার স্থান বা জায়গাকে নির্দেশ করে।

যেমনঃ far , near , above , below ইত্যাদি। I live near his house.
3. Adverb of manner of Quality কাকে বলে?
এ Adverb দ্বারা কোন কাজ সম্পন্ন হওয়ার পদ্ধতি বা ধরণকে নির্দেশ করে। যেমনঃ Slowly , Calmly , quickly , highly ইত্যাদি। He came here suddenly and quickly.
4. Adverb of degree or Number কাকে বলে?
এ Adverb দ্বারা কোন কাজ সম্পন্ন হওয়ার পরিমাণ, মাত্রা ও সংখ্যাকে নির্দেশ করে। যেমনঃ very, too, much, Once, secondly, again ইত্যাদি।I have become very tired now after running 5 kilometres.
5. Adverb of order কাকে বলে?

এ Adverb দ্বারা কোন কাজ সম্পন্ন হওয়ার পর্যায়কে নির্দেশ করে। যেমনঃ firstly, secondly, thirdly, finally ইত্যাদি।Firstly I will go there secondly I will ask him why he did not come to the party.
6. Adverb of cause and effect কাকে বলে?
এ Adverb দ্বারা কোন কাজ সম্পন্ন হওয়ার কারণ বা ফলাফল নির্দেশ করে।
যেমনঃ why, as, yet, so ইত্যাদি। He was sick so he could not do his duty.
7. Adverb of Affirmation and negation কাকে বলে?
এ Adverb দ্বারা কোন কাজ সম্পন্ন হওয়ার হাঁ বোধক বা না বোধক অবস্থা বা কাজ সম্পন্ন সম্পর্কিত সন্দেহ বা নিশ্চয়তা অবস্থা নির্দেশ করে। যেমনঃ yes, no, not, never, truly ইত্যাদি। I will never talk to him anymore….
