ব্যাখ্যা: familiar অর্থ পরিচিত। familiar এরপর Appropriate Preposition হিসেবে to বসে। Example: Our principal is familiar to all. লাইনটির অনুবাদ দাঁড়ায়: চাঁদ আমাদের সবার কাছে একটি পরিচিত বস্তু।

ব্যাখ্যা: এই লাইনে বলা হয়: She awakens= সে জাগিয়ে তোলে; a feeling= একটি অনূভুতি; —– love and tenderness= ভালোবাসা এবং কমনীয়তার; —– our hearts= আমাের হৃদয়ে। অনূভুতি কিসের? উত্তর ভালোবাসা এবং কমনীয়তার। এই মালিকানা বা ownership বুঝাতে Preposition হিসেবে of বসে। যেমন: The students of this college are noble. অতএব ভালবাসা ও কমনীয়তার অনূভুতি বুঝাতে গ্যাপ (b) তে preposition হিসেবে of বসবে। অতএব felling of love and tenderness হবে।

ব্যাখ্যা: এই বাক্যের অনুবাদ হলো: Even the infants= এমনকি শিশুরা; in arms = কোলের; stratch out = বাড়িয়ে দেয়; their hands= তাদের হাত; to grasp= ধরতে; the beautiful thing = সুন্দর জিনিসটি। এমনকি কোলের শিশুরাও এই সুন্দর বস্তুটিকে ধরতে তাের হাত বাড়িয়ে দেয়। গ্যাপ (d) তে stretch এরপর Preposition হিসেবে out বসবে।

ব্যাখ্যা: দেখুন এই Sentence এ Nor এর সাথে Auxiliary verb হিসেবে is কে Subject এর আগে ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। Grammar এর ভষায় এটি বলা হয় Inversion. বাক্যে জোর দেয়ার জন্য এই Structure ব্যবহার করা হয়। বাক্যটির অনুবাদ হলো: তার (চাঁদের) আবেদন শুধু শিশুদের মধ্যে সীমাবদ্ধ নয়। এখানে confined অর্থ সীমাবদ্ধ। এবং confined এরপর Preposition হিসেবে to ব্যবহৃত হয়।

ব্যাখ্যা: Ever since= অদ্যবধি; the stirring= উদয়; of poetic faculty in man= মানুষের মধ্যে কাব্যিক ধীশক্তি, she has furnished a theme= সে (চাঁদ) মূল বিষয়বস্তু সরবরাহ করেছে; poets and artists= কবি এবং শিল্পীদের। অর্থ্যাৎ অদ্যবধি চাঁদ মানুষের মধ্যে কাব্যিক ধীশক্তি উদয়ের মাধ্যমে কবি ও শিল্পীদের মূল বিষয়বস্তু সরবরাহ করেছে। সরবরাহ অর্থে furnish এরপর দুটি ভিন্ন ভিন্ন Structure এ দুটি ভিন্ন ভিন্ন Preposition ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন: Furnish কোন কিছু to কোন ব্যক্তি। আবার Furnish কোন ব্যক্তি with কোন কিছু। প্রদত্ত প্রশ্নে চাঁদ কবি ও শিল্পীদের theme সরবরাহ করেছে। তাই Preposition হিসেবে to বসবে। অর্থ্যাৎ furnished theme to poets and artists.

ব্যাখ্যা: এখানে বলা হচ্ছে চাঁদের নিজের কোন আলো নাই। এখনে চাঁদের নিজের বলতে মালিকানা বুঝনো হয়েছে। মালিকানা বা Ownership বুঝাতে Preposition হিসেবে of বসে।

ব্যাখ্যা: The soft silvery brightness= কমল সিভারি উজ্জ্বলতা; which forms her principal charms= যা তার প্রধান আকর্ষন তৈর করেছে; is borrowed solely= এককভাবে ধার কর হয়েছে; —-the light of the sun= সূর্যের আলো থেকে। অর্থ্যাৎ চাঁদের এই কমল সিলভারি উজ্জ্বলতা যা তার প্রধান আকর্ষন তৈর করেছে, তা কেবল সূর্যের আলো থেকে ধার করা। দেখেন borrowed অর্থ ধার করা হয়েছে। Borrow এরপর Preposition হিসেবে from বসে।
