ব্যাখ্যা: এই Sentence টির প্রথম Clause এ বলা হয়েছে One thought that । এখানে one একটি Indefinite Pronoun যা অনির্দিষ্টভাবে In general সকলকে বুঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। এবং এটি Singular। কিন্তু দেখেন প্রথম Sentence টিতে দুটি Noun রয়েছে- The Egyptians এবং People। যেগুলো Plural। অতএব এখানে Number সংক্রান্ত অসঙ্গতি রয়েছে। কেননা আমরা জানি Pronoun হয় তার পূর্ববর্তী Noun অনুযায়ী। অর্থাৎ Antecedent অনুযায়ী ব্যবহৃত হয়। Antecedent টি Singular হলে Pronoun টি Singular আর Antecedent টি Plural হলে Pronoun টি Plural হয়। অতএব One এর পরির্বতে They বসাতে হবে। Answer: They thought that in that world, people still would need many things he had on earth.
